Re: Best Films of the 21st Century
Most of the films I recognise on there are very good to be fair, but scanning a couple of times, I notice there is no "The Prestige" and no "The Fountain" for example, which I reckon are much better than many of the films I like on that list.

I'll probably think of a few others in a minute.

"Little Miss Sunshine" is missing, unless i went crosseyed trying to read the list and missed it.

Nightcrawler doesn't even make it into the top hundred?

I do not recognise this court's jurisdiction.

I may however squirrel this list somewhere so I have something to download if I'm ever at a loose end.

Re: Best Films of the 21st Century

I believe lists like these are there to create debate. I'll debate HER (1/10) and Amelie (0/10) all day, if you humour me with Tree of Life (10/10) and Dogville (10/10).

So you liked the bumming scene then?

Not one comedy. Film critics are so up their own arses.

Re: Best Films of the 21st Century
haha, no the point i was making is it's bad enough without that shit to make it even worse. just a bad film. there's more on the list, even the coen brothers wouldn't rate 'A Serious Man' so highly, and im a massive fan of theirs :.)

Re: Best Films of the 21st Century
Her and tree of life are both painfully shit.

Inglorious bastards and the dark knight should be right up there.

Moonrise Kingdom and Inglorious Basterds are comedies.

Re: Best Films of the 21st Century
Fucking hell Mikke, A Serious Man was the FIRST film I picked out as shit too. A proper stinker promoted as a comedy.

Massive Coen Brothers fan too and I thought Hail Caesar a much better film, a proper homage to Hollywood.
